I’ve been a booze-free babe since 2007, having gotten sober at the fresh age of 24. I didn’t make the choice to be a mindful drinker, nor was I sober curious — those terms didn’t even exist yet. I only knew I had to quit drinking to save my life.
Hospitality wasn’t inclusive 18 years ago and it’s only in the past six+ years that I’ve noticed a real shift in the way we cater to customers who choose not to imbibe—whether for a night, a month, a pregnancy, or the rest of their lives.
I created this space out of a desire to build authentic community around the zero proof lifestyle, and to tell the stories behind the beverages. My goal has always been to provide a platform elevating non-alcoholic options to each and every single human who wants something different, something new, something rebellious, something promising present nights and refreshed mornings.
What started out as a tiny beverage directory has since expanded to a global map of non-alcoholic bottle shops, booze-free bars, and other NA-friendly hospitality establishments viewed over 350K times.
